I've seen Jedi 100 times but I just watched it for the first time with my young daughter who was captivated by it. TNT marathon even though I own them! I don't know if it was watching with her and the father/child relationship, or because I'm getting older, but this was the first time this scene ever brought me to tears. It's so beautiful. I know the prequels are kind of corny but maybe also knowing Anakin's arc makes it that much weightier. Either way, him taking off the helmet and Luke saying "I have to save you." and Vader responding with that line really hit me hard for the first time. It's my favorite moment of all the films. Wondering if that dynamic hit anyone else as hard after they had children? Thanks for letting me share! via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2n4vvc4
