In legends it says that luke is the most powerful jedi to have ever lived but with his limited teaining how is that so?

I know anakin was extremely powerful and luke even more so but eith only a few days with obi wan and a few months with yoda how did he finish his training? Was he able to obtain the skill necessary? via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2mPxK7y
