There was no heroic last stand, or brave resistance, or whatnot. We didn't see Plo Koon or Mundi on the steps of the Jedi Temple, bravely leading the surviving Jedi in a last stand. The Jedi didn't go out in a blaze of glory, then went out ingloriously gunned down by their own soldiers. This really drove home the brutality of the Sith, the hopelessness of the situation, how no one saw it coming and the symbolism of the end of the Republic. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2oaOKF2
