The one thing Ben Solo doesn't understand

Ben Solo always says that he wants to finish what his grandfather started, that he wants to make his grandfather proud but what he doesn't know is that Anakin hated himself, he despised what he had become and used that hatred to give himself even more power, he always regretted it what you can even see in episode VI when he says "Its too late for me", Anakin had no choice but to bow down to Palpatine and do as he commanded.
