The one thing Ben Solo doesn't understand
Ben Solo always says that he wants to finish what his grandfather started, that he wants to make his grandfather proud but what he doesn't know is that Anakin hated himself, he despised what he had become and used that hatred to give himself even more power, he always regretted it what you can even see in episode VI when he says "Its too late for me", Anakin had no choice but to bow down to Palpatine and do as he commanded. I really love how George did Order 66.
There was no heroic last stand, or brave resistance, or whatnot. We didn't see Plo Koon or Mundi on the steps of the Jedi Temple, bravely leading the surviving Jedi in a last stand. The Jedi didn't go out in a blaze of glory, then went out ingloriously gunned down by their own soldiers. This really drove home the brutality of the Sith, the hopelessness of the situation, how no one saw it coming and the symbolism of the end of the Republic. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2oaOKF2

Did anyone else notice the terrified look on Bodhi's face when...
When Bodhi is first presented to Saw Gerrera, they exchange a few words, then Saw grabs and breathes through his oxygen supplier and the sound of it is very similar to Vader's breathing. In legends it says that luke is the most powerful jedi to have ever lived but with his limited teaining how is that so?

I just finished watching S6E4 "Orders." The ending, with Fives sacrificing himself for the truth, hit me really hard for some reason. Fives came closer than any Jedi ever had to bringing down the impending Empire. The episode was animated so well. I could see the emotion and the desperation in his face, and it broke my heart. It hit me harder than most people because I've been in that position. Knowing with all of your heart that something is true, and being surrounded by those who don't believe you. And that soundtrack... Look up that ending and rewatch it.Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts (very late to the party on this one I know). Was Qui-Gon Jinn meant to be the perfect template of what a Jedi should have been?
It's said that he would ignore the council and do whatever The Cosmic Force guided him to do, he always showed love and compassion even though they weren't necessarily meant to. And in the prequels they really tried to show how the Jedi order just kind of became dogmatic, uncaring and apathetic which is kind of what lead to their downfall. Then it's interesting because once Yoda and Obi-Wan went into hiding Qui-Gon basically became their mentor. Do you think this is meant to mean more than just teaching them how to become a Force Ghost?
