At first, we are lead to believe Han is talking about the Kessel Run as if it where a race, after all, Ben was inquiring about the ship's speed, it makes sense the Kessel Run is a race that should prove the MF is fast. However, after seeing Solo, I think the MF is fast enough to brag about, but in Han's mind, that takes second place to the Kessel Run. He believes that mentioning the Kessle Run will make people go "Holy shit, THAT Millennium Falcon!? Ive heard its incredibly fast! How did you traverse the Kessel Run?". Its almost like asking Hercules "Hey, are you strong?" and Herc going "Haven't you heard of Hercules? Im Zeus' son!"
