He is a polar opposite to Anakin in a lot of ways and is a great villain because of it.-He is calm and composed at all times. Anakin is very emotional.-He was born into wealth. Anakin was born a slave.-Dooku is old and experienced, anakin is a young upstart.-Dooku doesn't have any close feelings to any of his allies. Anakin on the other hand loves those close to him such as Padme and Obi Wan.-Dooku leaves the fighting to his underlings. Anakin fights alongside his clone troopers.-Dooku is nearly always in control of his situations. Anakin rushes headfirst into danger without a second thought.-Dooku's fighting style is about elegance and precision. Anakin's has emphasis on raw power.-Dooku had no time for joking around. Anakin frequently made small talk even in the most dangerous of situations.-Dooku was respected during his time in the jedi order. Anakin was criticised for his emotions and arrogance.-Dooku seems to be more in control of his dark side than Anakin. Dooku saw the dark side as a means to protest against the republic's failings and wasn't corrupted. Anakin is consumed by it when he can't control his fears.These are some observations I made. I felt that Dooku was a great villain for Anakin to face throughout the clone wars and concluding at revenge of the sith as they had such different personalities therefore providing more of a reason for Anakin to hate Dooku. Something else that I found interesting in ROTS was Dooku's reaction to getting his arms sliced off. He seemed more shocked by the fact that he could lose to Anakin of all people rather than over the fact that he just lost his arms.Anyway this is just my opinion. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2CPkPHk
