In the Last Jedi, when Kylo first sees Luke, his former master, standing there on Crait, his first instinct is to launch all firepower they have at him, which I think is a testament to how powerful Kylo knows Luke is. Whats scarier is that even after Luke is bombarded by the walkers and comes out unscathed, Kylo doesn't immediately suspect force projection. This shows us that Kylo truly believes that Luke could actually withstand that kind of firepower, which I think shows us just how powerful Luke really is.
