Anakin Skywalker should have been granted the rank of master

Anakin Skywalker has genuine reasons for annoyance at not being given the rank of master, other than simply being placed on the council without the rank. The only reason he is not is due to a technicality.Jedi knights were given the rank of master after they had successfully led their padawan to being knighted. It is true that Anakin did not do this; Ahsoka left the Order a padawan. However, after Ahsoka's innocence was proven Windu claimed that this had been her trail and the council would knight her. She left the Order anyway, yet the point stands that the council were ready to knight Ahsoka and thus Anakin would've been made a master. Therefore it is only due to a technicality that Anakin was not made a master, and I believe he should've been made one regardless at this point. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2nmrS2T
