What hope is there for the Resistance, after the Rebellion failed to bring peace to the Galaxy?

I don't know much about the rise of the First Order, but having only watched the movies I feel that the way the new trilogy was set up undermines the events of the original trilogy. This led me to think if there is any hope for the Resistance to succeed in the long run, or if it will just lead to the rise of the Second Order and so on.In your opinion, what should happen in Ep 9 so that the Resistance wins not just a battle, but the War?My guess is that instead of defeating the First Order, they'll have to take control of it, either by redeeming Ben, or having someone else redeemed and taking over. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2LiGlZ8
