Did they ever officially confirm that there'd be flashbacks in Kenobi?

Why are the expectations so high for flashbacks occuring? I feel like aside from some unofficial fan art (very well done, I might add) of Hayden and Ewan in Clone Wars armor, there's been no proof of plans for flashback scenes. Plus there are only 6 episodes, and the only teaser of it we got seems to focus very much in the present. Did I miss something? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3EOBNVF
