How did Poe survive when the Tie Fighter crashed into Jakku?

He obviously crashed somewhere else because Finn couldn't find him. Then he suddenly reappears later on in an X-Wing and runs into Finn. I don't think they explained how he survived. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3FfDbku
