the "sith are better than Jedi" mindset is something that only people who don't really pay attention but think they do have

I am obviously not talking about "which one you like more", I am talking about "who are the good guys"for a beginner(someone who just watched the OT) sith are the obvious bad guys, they are a tyranny and blow up planets just becausehonestly, if you just watched OT and then told me that sith are better than the Jedi, I would just look at you like you are a fucking moronbut then you watch PT (and as much of a bad job it does in most cases, it does this one beautifully ) see through the lies of jedi and realize "oh god, the Jedi fucking suck", they are arrogant, hypocritical, overly skeptical, too firm in following "the code", the code itself doesn't make sense and they are generally moronsyou think to yourself "weird, are these guys actually the good guys?" and down the rabbit hole that "Jedi's evil deeds" is and after spending so much time in there you come to the conclusion "sith aren't actually that" or "sith and Jedi are the same"however, if you stop going down that rabbit hole for a second and do the smallest amount of research about the sith you realize that the sith are actually like Jedi with all the positive points gone and all negative points on steroidarrogant, hypocritical, overly skeptical, and way too obsessed with their own "code" that is even more fucked up than the Jedi codethe sith literally started as Jedis who are going too farsith is not the opposite of Jedi, sith is on the same side of the spectrum as the Jedi, except they are way too far.it's not black and white, but the Jedi will always be in a lighter shade of grey compared to sith via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/32oZsxX
