Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, I just want to see where people stand.I have seen every star wars movie so many times, there's no way to count. (besides the Disney trilogy, that one I only watch if I'm watching all the movies in order). But if I had to choose one movie to watch at a given time, or introduce a friend to star wars. I would choose a rogue one most of the time. While the start of the movie is a little slow-paced, the last 40 minutes is really an unforgettable experience. It is such an immersive watch, that gives a new perspective into Star Wars. We get to see the raw sacrifice people would make for the rebellion. It goes very well into the impact of what the battle against the Empire means for the galaxy; why it matters and the toll it has taken on civilians' lives.Because of this new perspective alone, it gave such a deeper meaning to the galactic war and personally has made the originals more enjoyable for me being able to see further the scale and weight the Galactic war has tied to it.While many complain the character development was lacking, while they may have played the movie safe, I personally believe it was very well executed and that if someone hasn't seen a star wars movie, THIS is the one to show them and introduce them to this great universe. Also: (the new trilogy really f*ed up on scale, it was totally off, Im not giving Disney the pass, just praising them for a specific piece of work)Edit: Rogue one is not the best movie in Star wars, It is the best SINGLE movie, as in experience. I think it was taken the wrong way. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3qiX5Gh
