Unpopular Opinion: Animated shows are better at capturing the scope of Star Wars than movies.

With an animated show, you can have many different species and planets/locations that all have unique looks and add to the general feel of the show. However, in the movies, there are often restraints on this and whatever species they can show look really weird. My biggest example of this is probably Kit Fisto, who looks like he abducts children in Episode 1/2 but then actually looks normal in TCW. It’s a lot easier to have normal looking species in animation and you can also add more. As well, it’s easier to do space scenes and have a lot of unique sets. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2uINgqG
