First, I want to say that sadly, Kobe Bryant has passed away today in a helicopter crash. Authorities do not believe his wife was with him. He is survived by her and his 4 children(Edit: His 13 year old daughter Gianna was also on board so he is survived by his wife 3 children). This man was a legend on the basketball court and off of it. Secondly (and I promise this relates to Star Wars) there is an episode arc of Clone Wars that deals with the Citadel prison. There is a tactical droid there named K2-B4, obviously KB for Kobe Bryant and 24 for his Jersey number. On top of this, the droid is painted yellow and purple, representing the colors of his team, the Los Angeles Lakers. I've always thought it was really cool that the creators gave this sly nod to Kobe and now, it means more than it did before. I know a few people may already know this, but with the timing of the sad news, I thought it was a cool note that maybe some didnt catch. RIP Mamba.
