I noticed something interesting. In "Jedi Night", right before Kanan dies, he is able to see again. I always interpreted it as The Force giving him 'one last moment of happiness', so he could look at the woman he loved.The first time I saw TROS I was wondering, why Ben didn't die right after sacrificing his life in order to resurrect Rey. Now I understand - The Force rewarded him. Just like Kanan, he was given one last moment of happiness.
