"The legacy of the Jedi is failure. Hypocrisy, hubris" and the Jedi Masters from the Prequels.

In the PT, we see a heavily flawed Jedi Order, and in TLJ, Luke says "Now that they're extinct, the Jedi are romanticised, deified. If you strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the jedi is failure. Hypocrisy, Hubris". Now, that is pretty obvious from just the movies, however I feel like there are 2 jedi in the prequels that show those, as well as another one that shows the ignorance of the jedi.Mace Windu, the hypocrisy of the Jedi Order, Mr. "keepers of the peace, not soldiers" that goes on to cut off Jango's head after disarming him.Jocasta Nu, the hubris and arrogance of the Jedi Order. "if it doesn't appear in our records, it does not exist". The Jedi Order stood for thousands of years, but that doesn't mean they know everything. Especially when the unknown regions are a thing that exists. And even if not, there would still be a chance that the jedi just could have missed something. Jocasta believes that the Jedi archives have everything.Ki-Adi Mundi, the ignorance of the Jedi Order. I'll let this post explain that. This is also the post that originally inspired me to make this one.I think those are the only 3 speaking jedi in the prequels that aren't the main characters (qui-gon, obi-wan, yoda, anakin), or the younglings/padawans. (unless I missed someone). I know that 3 characters isn't a lot, but i'd say they do a pretty good job at showing why the Jedi Order fell, with just those 3. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2ydooJe
