If anyone thinks 20 seconds is too long to wash your hands, the Star Wars main theme is 1:20. So give that tune a hum and you've got plenty to do while washing your hands.

In These Dark Times.
Like most of us, I've loved Star Wars since I was a kid. Some people don't like where it's heading, some people do. Personally, I love every bit of Star Wars out there. But that's not really the point. Star Wars is like a lifeline for me. Every bit of trauma I've gone through, it's given some sort of solace. Some light to turn to.A couple of years ago I lost my girlfriend suddenly and unexpectedly. In my most grief riddled moments I turned to the galaxy far, far away. I was watching one movie or another.I met my current girlfriend about 6 months after that loss. I, more or less, introduced her to the wide array of Star Wars. Before we started dating she said she wanted to watch the prequels but we spent all night talking while The Phantom Menace was in the background. We've seen every film since then, and The Mandalorian. We've seen every film since The Last Jedi opening night. The Earth is in a rough place right now. I'm trying to stay strong but it's hard. All in all... I'm real scared. My girlfriend already has anxiety and infrequent panic attacks so I'm doing my best to put on a brave face for her. Luckily, we're both still employed.Unluckily, only she can work from home. I have a weird schedule. After Monday, I'm off until Thursday, and then have Friday Saturday and Sunday off. But after that I'm on the clock for roughly 8 days. I call these days my long stretch. On my three days off I'm very much looking forward to binging every movie out so far. It gives me something to look forward to.So thank you Star Wars. Thank you George, thank you Disney, and every name involved in the process. In these dark times I have a light. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2JrCr0h

Star Wars Original Trilogy animated show?
I think it would be cool if we got a Clone Wars type show set after Return of the Jedi. We could see the original cast meet characters from Rebels and see the start of Luke's academy. It could also help fill in some of the things missing from the sequel trilogy. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2QUxMrA
My favourite ever Star Wars moment is Obi-wan Vs Maul in rebels. Is anyone with me?
It does help that they are my two favourite characters but it is to me a perfect scene. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3byI74p
I just realized that the shield generator for the second Death Star is located on the forest moon OF Endor, and that Endor itself is a gas giant planet which the forest moon orbits.
I don't know how many times I've seen Return of the Jedi and just picked it up. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/33WJ2Jj
"The legacy of the Jedi is failure. Hypocrisy, hubris" and the Jedi Masters from the Prequels.
In the PT, we see a heavily flawed Jedi Order, and in TLJ, Luke says "Now that they're extinct, the Jedi are romanticised, deified. If you strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the jedi is failure. Hypocrisy, Hubris". Now, that is pretty obvious from just the movies, however I feel like there are 2 jedi in the prequels that show those, as well as another one that shows the ignorance of the jedi.Mace Windu, the hypocrisy of the Jedi Order, Mr. "keepers of the peace, not soldiers" that goes on to cut off Jango's head after disarming him.Jocasta Nu, the hubris and arrogance of the Jedi Order. "if it doesn't appear in our records, it does not exist". The Jedi Order stood for thousands of years, but that doesn't mean they know everything. Especially when the unknown regions are a thing that exists. And even if not, there would still be a chance that the jedi just could have missed something. Jocasta believes that the Jedi archives have everything.Ki-Adi Mundi, the ignorance of the Jedi Order. I'll let this post explain that. This is also the post that originally inspired me to make this one.I think those are the only 3 speaking jedi in the prequels that aren't the main characters (qui-gon, obi-wan, yoda, anakin), or the younglings/padawans. (unless I missed someone). I know that 3 characters isn't a lot, but i'd say they do a pretty good job at showing why the Jedi Order fell, with just those 3. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2ydooJe
