Was Watto using a loaded chance cube against Qui Gon?

In TPM, just before the race, Qui Gon makes the bet with Watto that, depending on which side Watto’s cube lands, that’s who Anakin will be racing for. Blue, the boy. Red, his mother.I’ve always thought it was painfully obvious that Watto’s chance cube was weighted to red. Obviously Watto doesn’t want to lose Anakin, so he’d put him on the side that isn’t going to win. That’s why Watto gets so upset when it lands on blue. Qui Gon knew Watto was cheating so he did the same, but Watto couldn’t call him out because that would reveal that he was cheating in the first place.I made a comment about this with some friends (and in a Reddit thread) and people are saying this isn’t the case but I’ve always thought it was. Am I making this up or was I right?edit: turns out: there’s a wookieepedia article on this. Normally chance cubes had 3 red, 3 blue. Watto’s has 5 red and 1 blue (but shows it to Qui Gon in a way that hides that there are more red) AND it’s weighted towards the side opposite of the blue! via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2QNG8R7
