The 501st & R2?🧐

This is just a theory, but has anyone else noticed that the 501st armour and R2-D2 have almost the exact same colour scheme? I’m wondering if Anakin chose those colours for the 501st because those are R2’s colours. And to take it one step further, Padme gave R2 to Anakin at some point, so this could also be a secret homage to her.All just a theory, there might be a explanation (in canon or legends) as to how the armour colours and designs were chose for each clone battalion.
