Han Solo and Boba Fett were probably friends at some point or at least there was a mutual respect.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story, Lando said that Beckett killed Aurra Sing. Sing was Boba's mentor after Jango's death. He was probably looking to kill Beckett until Han did that at the end of the movie.
