I have taken the time to watch 'The Clone Wars' in its entirety after finishing S2 of 'The Mandalorian' because of how many characters are being brought in by Favreau/Filoni.I recently finished S5 and today watched 'The Wrong Jedi' and I was blown away with how good this arc was.The storytelling really highlights how arrogant/misguided the Jedi Council's actions could be. Hell, they threw Ahsoka to the dogs even after knowing the type of person she was for all of those years. The show also does an amazing job of really contextualizing exactly why Anakin became jaded and turned to the dark side. This episode, to me, was the pinpoint of why that happened. The look in his eyes in that final shot was heartbreaking. You can really sense how disillusioned he is beginning to feel with the Jedi way.Factor that in with highlighting how heroic of a Jedi knight he was throughout the show, the great voice acting from his/Ahsoka's/everyone's actors and this was just such an incredible episode. It makes his fall to the dark side more tragic than any of the PT movies could convey.Anyways, I just needed to rant. This show is amazing and gives so much depth to the prequel universe and really improves upon it in so many ways. Also, I was surprised/pleased when Tim Curry starred as Palpatine. Had no idea he was in the show! via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2NSCS9n
