Noticing so many details in my re watch of the franchise.This visual detail is a great setup of showing the rank and power (policially at least) of the two for when they arrive on the Death Start II in Return of the Jedi.Vader is greated with about 2 dozen officer types and 2 dozen stormtroopersEmperor, ill put it this, they used a matt painting because I think it would be cheaper then trying to get that many extras costumed and a space big enough.
