Episode 9 Hints in Aftermath: Empire’s End

(Spoilers for the Aftermath trilogy)So in light of the Episode 9 trailer I re-read the scenes from Jakku in Aftermath: Empire’s End and I think it contains some interesting hints. For those that have a copy, read pages 380-383.First, it contains an explicit quote from Tashu that says “Palpatine Lives.” And reiterates his belief that Palpatine survives in the unknown regions.Second, it has a very interesting description of a well inside Palpatine’s observatory on Jakku that is said to be strong in the light side of the force. Could this be hinting at Rey’s lineage, or the source of her power? It would work with episode 8 while also expanding on her lineage as JJ Abrahams recently said in an interview. We’ve also seen wells be sites that are strong in the force, such as on Achto-To where Rey has her version.Thoughts?
