The development of a Star Wars open-world RPG with the same level of detail as Red Dead Redemption 2 should be a priority for Disney

I love Star Wars movies as much as the next person. They're fantastic. But a three-hour movie simply cannot provide the same immersive experience or engage in the same form of world-building that an RPG can offer. As I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I'm struck by how amazing a well-produced Star Wars RPG game could be. Of course, the KOTOR games exist (and are excellent), but those are now a decade old. The open-world genre has evolved significantly since then. Thus, I think Disney should really be prioritizing the production of a world-class Star Wars RPG. Not only does it provide the opportunity to provide a truly immersive experience to fans (as mentioned above), but it would undoubtedly be a huge money grab--GTA V, for example, has grossed over $6 billion.Your thoughts? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2SYn177
