Just a small thing I wanted to get out there. I'm not the biggest fan of the sequel trilogy and I think there alot of issues, but one thing I cant fault it for is its lightsaber duels. They have struck the right balance between cool visuals and emotional stakes. It isn't the overly long and glorified stunt shows that were the prequel duels, these are very reminiscent of the OT duels, which highlight the external and internal struggles. You see Finn giving it his all, even though Kylo is clearly superior and is just waiting to finish this. You see Rey come into her own against Kylo Ren in TFA, as Kylo is realizing he isnt dealing with just some scrub. You see Kylo getting more and more frustrated and angry in TLJ as Luke is calm and wise. Props to all involved; directors, actors, coordinators, cinematographers, etc. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2z0Kg8q
