Rewatching The Last Jedi tonight and I get that everyone is blaming Poe for the destruction of the bombers and the loss of the fleet - but he also did saved the Resistance.Here is why.Poe takes down the Dreadnought that would have had enough fire power to blast through the Resistance Cruisers shields from a far distance. So if Poe didnt take down that Dreadnought, the Resistance would have been toast once they came out of lightspeed and the First Order tracked them.So instead of being demoted he should have been commended.Also - if Leia was so against his plan - why didnt she just radio the bombers and tell them to retreat?
