Why are there so many random, quiet, badass side-characters in Star Wars?

2003 Clone Wars: Arc Troopers, they barely say a word to each other, but their usual answer to problems is shoot absolutely everything at it.2008 Clone Wars: Embo, the bounty hunter. I love that moment in "The Box" where everyone is climbing out of a hole, but Embo just jumps 30 ft in the air out of the hole while spinning and flipping for no reason. His hat is also badass. And also the Super Tactical Droids. They're not exactly quiet, but their voices alone are the bee's knees.Rogue One: Death Troopers. Need I say more.Original Trilogy: Like it or not, Boba Fett did not have much of an impact story-wise, but he just looks like the ultimate badass mofo in his mandolorian armor and his silent demeanor. The Force Awakens: The random pirate dude Finn tries to escape with. Named, "The Crimson Corsair," his whole design is honestly one of my favorites. Also Captain Phasma. Such a badass looking storm trooper design, but we never really see her do anything. Not complaining, of course, but it keeps bugging me how they can make these cool ass designs but the main characters are almost always some generic looking humans. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2xew8rH
