Is anyone else simply uninterested in a Han Solo spinoff?

It honestly doesn't feel right having a new movie based on a younger Han Solo. It would work if the OT didn't exist and the only Han we knew was the old Han from TFA, but this isn't the case, OT Han is the young Han.Having a slightly younger Han Solo played by a different actor is also strange. I'm sorry, but no matter how much makeup or CGI you use, Harrison Ford is and always will be Han Solo. But the issue I see most commonly discussed is how the character could actually develop towards the end. In the OT, Han Solo goes from being a selfish smuggler to putting his life on the line to help a cause. So what happens in the spinoff? Does the film simply end with him being a self-centered scruffy-looking nerf herder? This isn't a rant, just a personal opinion of mine that I thought I would share, and also, it is 100% subject to change if you can convince me. What do you honestly feel about the movie idea? via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2eL6LHz
