Episode IX will be better than The Force Awakens. Here's why...

I'm a huge fan of TFA. But we all know what the complaints about it were. And JJ is no dummy. He knows what people bitched about. He was even aware of something as small as Leia not giving Chewie a hug after Han died (and suggested he'd handle that differently if he could go back). He knows what's going on.He knows that some people thought it was a little safe. That it was a little too close to ANH. He knows that some people thought Rey was a little OP. That the movie didn't provide enough geopolitical context. All that stuff.And now he has another shot to show people what he can do. He can take the time he needs to correct the "mistakes" (if you wanna call them that) of TFA.I see a lot of people afraid that JJ is just going to rehash RotJ. I'm confident that he won't. Episode IX will be JJ's opportunity to tell a truly original Star Wars story that can bring the Skywalker Saga to a close. He is being given the chance to close out the trilogy that he started.
