I get that Stormtroopers wear helmets for intimidation and for environmental protection, and that TIE Fighter Pilots wear them for life support. What's up with the Navy Troopers, though? They rarely experience combat since they spend most of their time aboard Star Destroyers, and even if they do get on the battlefield, their massive helmets would be a massive disadvantage: they'd be too bulky and clumbsy and therefore make the trooper inefficient in combat, and they'd look ridiculous in the eyes of enemies. Why the heck do they wear those helmets? via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2gk5G6i
