I've never been this emotional watching Episode III.So I've been going through what I suppose will be a new anual tradition of watching all the films in order before each new movie released. I went through a cycle of loving the prequels as a kid, realizing the flaws and basically ignoring them as a teenager then in the last few years I've really learned to love them again. The Star Wars Oxygen episodes of the Rebel Force Radio podcast have helped me appreciate the prequels a LOT more, and watching them this time I just had a blast. Sure there are effects that don't hold up (some not well AT ALL), but let's be honest, not every effect from the original trilogy is invisible today. I think there is a serious level of depth to these movies that gets overlooked do to all the complaints about the CGI and stiff performances. George Lucas really deserves a lot more credit for his work here. I honestly feel bad that he got so much hate for the prequels. So anyways TL;DR, I rewatched the prequels and gained a new appreciation for them, and may have teared up during the last 30 minutes or so of Episode III. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2gIfk1b
