Tatooine is overused throughout the Star Wars Universe/EU

I havent been as invested in Star Wars as I once was, so let me know if Im completely wrong here.Isn't Tatooine supposed to be a remote location that almost no one has heard of? I believe there is a line or two in the Phantom Menace that describes how Tatooine is far outside of Republic space (in the Outer Rims of the Universe). Through the movies, it makes sense. They were avoiding the Trade Federation so they went far outside of civilized space.[Potential The Mandalorian spoilers] I just started the second season of Mandalorian. Mando has been to Tatooine 3 or more times now. Everyone seems to hide out on that specific planet.I also have recently gotten back into SWTOR. Not really surprised that every class story travels to Tatooine (if one does, they all do. And its an easy planet for them to make a "go to this remote planet to retrieve a long lost..." type of story). What I find annoying is being at Nar Shadaa and having some Gang be named after the Krayt Dragons of Tatooine.Im sure theres tons more examples through comics and novels. Point being, Tatooine is (from a lore stand point) far overused.Drunken rant finished.Edit: Side Note (as Im watching S2E1 of Mando) where the hell do Tusken Raiders get sticks to pitch their tents? There are no trees! via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3qSZQi6
