I argued with my friends who said that there is no coherence in saber fights choreography thoroughout the saga. Lots of people point out at the fact that prequel had over-the-top flashy fights instead of "realistic" like OT or sequels. But before the fall of the Jedi Order thousands of knights had been training for their entire lives, learning from each other, cultivating all forms - almost all that was lost after RotS. Vader had to adapt to his mechanical body, Obi Wan got old, Luke never had this much training with the saber, neither did Rey. As for Kylo - he was a big dude with anger issues so he had this "overpowering" technique, much like Vader.I think if they ever make an Old Republic movie the fights should be as acrobatic and cool as TOR cinematics portray them. Not only many Jedi cultivated fencing but also an army of Sith. What are your thoughts on this? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3B4HEn6
