Crosshair’s character arc is far longer than we think.

In most discussions, I hear a lot about when Crosshair will “switch sides” and rejoin the Bad Batch. But I think not a lot of the discussion takes note that the bad batch doesn’t “take sides”, they are brothers trying to survive together. Crosshair can’t “switch sides” because he is proud to admit that he is not inherently different inside than any other clone. The point of the clone wars was to show us that they were all unique despite the purpose of their creation. Even the inhibitor chips are shown to be incapable of completely subduing the clones. I think it would way more interesting to see Crosshair on his own for a few seasons, much like how we saw maul and Ashoka. Crosshair could operate as a good anti-hero counter plot in the show. It’s obvious that the empire isn’t going to tolerate his disobedience much longer, and he’s obviously too proud to return to the batch any time soon, so maybe he would have to do assassin and bounty hunter work, fighting against or with his brothers sometimes, but most the time doing his own thing (maybe training a young boba)? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3mcNejD
