Just finished rewatching Star Wars Rebels and I still think this show doesn’t get the recognition it deserves

With this show clearly being continued finally through the Mandalorian and eventually Ashoka I wish Rebels would get the constant hype that Clone Wars and the prequels do (and especially rogue one here). Rebels has a lot of lows but it also has one of the best endings and seasons of all of Star Wars. It constantly improves even in season 1 which has a far more satisfying conclusion than The Bad Batch. Season 4 is a non stop near flawless ride without any filler the stakes are incredibly high and all victories feel so earned, and it’s one of few pieces of Star Wars media to make me bawl my eyes out. Season 4 is so close to just being a movie besides the first two arcs which are still important.I am so excited for Thrawn, Ezra, Sabine, and whoever else will be coming back into live action. It’s so clear there is something bigger at play with how much the shows are building upon Rebels and building around the Emperor. I think Rebels was setting the path towards this big climactic story event the Disney+ shows are now leading to.On a side note I desperately hope the bad batch can have a season as good as season 4 of Rebels. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3gC8Q50
