What a great story! This should be a stand alone film. I loved the arc of disillusionment with the Empire, and was heartbroken to see how much of a victim Ciena was and still is to her upbringing as well as her role in the Imperial Navy. The ending is bittersweet and I really want to know what happened with Ciena and Thane after the war. In my head Canon, Thane convinces the New Republic that Ciena needs therapy to deal with the trauma of her experience with the Empire, she's able to accept that she no longer owes any allegiance to the Empire and is able to forgive herself. Maybe she gets early release because she testifies against higher ranking officers that have also been captured. Finally, her and Thane settle down on Naboo and start a family. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/3ftJDXL
