Biggest improvement TRoS made to the Saga...

C-3PO. I'm a 90's kid, so I remember a time before the prequels, making the OT a huge part of my Star Wars foundation. I swear I watched Star Wars and Indiana Jones at least once a week. Even though I was so vehemently attached to the movies, one character I always HATED was C-3PO. He was always the most aggravating character to me, always getting under my skin and making me want to yell at the tv in frustration over his constant whining. Then the prequels came out and didn't help, then Clone Wars made my frustrations worse. He was probably the only main OT character I never had an action figure of. In TFA and TLJ he played a very small role, so there wasn't much to complain about, but he has a significant amount screen time and even somewhat of an arc in TRoS. Surprisingly, I found him to be one of the best parts of the movie. He has great jokes and gags, none of them falling flat, and definitely got some of the best reactions from the audiences I've seen it with. His recurring "you didn't ask, but I'm alright" joke and "one of my oldest friends" line really worked for me in particular.I've never really cared too much about C-3PO, but I feel like TRoS helped his character considerably. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2szzCp5
