Maz Kanata's role should have been Leia's

^ with some juggling around, obviously. Maz just seems a bit pointless, beyond giving exposition.Leia would convincingly know about the Force, without being a Jedi. She was there (ish) when Luke lost his hand, and it's not ridiculous to think she'd arrange things (possibly with Lando) so the lightsaber could be found.Plus, having her keep the saber and tell Rey about the Force would give her more to do! via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/30d5rjb
