My Theory on Jedi Training

Ever since the prequels came out people asked questions about why the Jedi training takes so long, since infancy almost, and why Luke and Rey mastered it so easily. My theory is that Jedi training spends a small amount of time actually teaching Light Saber combat and force powers, but most of it on military training, flying, emotional stability and tactics. One thing that Luke (or Rey) never does in the movies is lead men. Whilst in the prequels you see almost every Jedi being a general or commander of clones. The reason Yoda was able to teach Luke so easily was because he only taught Luke Light Saber combat and force power, therefore taking way less time than Anakin's or any other Jedi's training. It also explains Anakin's, Luke's, and Luke's padawan Kylo's emotional instability, seeing as they skimped on their "therapy" work. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2UtfcH2
