Rogue One quickly became one of my favourite Star Wars movies for the grittier approach to the battles and sacrifice that's never really been shown in the other movies. But above all, the space battle scenes are some of the best in the series for me (RotJ being my favourite in the series).Seeing X-Wings and all the capital ships was awesome. I also really liked the ties to ANH in that the Rebel fleet was decimated at Scarif so all they had left was a few small fighters. I know that the weakness in the original Death Star was exploitable by single fighters but I feel like they would have thrown everything they had at the Empire to try and save themselves. Always seemed weird to me as a kid that the Rebels only had like 10 ships in their entire fleet guarding their main hideout.Rogue One tied that all together nicely. And the space battle scenes are just awesome in my opinion.Say what you will about the movie but it's in my top 3 for sure. via /r/StarWars http://bit.ly/2RyVviB
