(Just gonna start by saying, I’m ok if you like Clone Wars! You are free to have your own opinion! This is just my own opinion, and I ask that you please be respectful with responses.)I just don’t like Clone Wars. First watch through felt like such a chore, no episodes felt good to me. First episode I actually got into was Trandosian Hunters arc at the of season 3. 3! Took 3 seasons to get a decent episode for me.The Umbara arc was ok, but each time I rewatch it the less I like it. The twist was cool the first time a saw it, but since then it’s just lost it’s appeal. Mortis I remember having mixed feelings about, I’d need to rewatch it as it’s been a long time, but I remember having a problem with how the Force was handled, I could be wrong. My dislike for Clone Wars may just stem from the fact I just don’t like the era. It doesn’t feel like Star Wars to me. When I watch the OT and then the prequels/Clone Wars, it doesn’t feel like they take place in the same universe.I also didn’t find myself liking any new characters really. I don’t get the big deal with Clones. Especially Rex and Cody. The show makes a big deal about how “oh we are clones but we all have different personalities!” But they don’t. All of them think and act the same. In trying to be different, they are all the same, they aren’t unique. You see one clone character, you’ve seen them all.Felt Rebels was a far superior show. Had great characters, told a great story, and felt like Star Wars. Just hate how much the show tried to tie into Clone Wars. All four season has like 20 Clone Wars references each.Yeah yeah I get it, I’m in the minority with not liking Clone Wars, and I’m sure I’m gonna get some hate for saying this, but I felt like in needed to go on this little rant. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/2NzRzfS
