Yesterday I went to see a "Star Wars in concert" performance where an arena of thousands of people watched A New Hope on the big screen with a live orchestra playing John Williams's music. I've never seen people cheer and clap as hard as I saw yesterday. The orchestra got a several minute long ovation complete with cheers. It wasn't clapping and cheering because that's what you're supposed to do, there was some kind of primal energy in the crowd. I only wish I had recorded the ending to be able to relive it.
