Mark Hamill's acting in the flashback scene is pretty incredible.

Say what you will about that scene (and the movie in general), but Mark is GREAT in that moment. The horror he sees in Ben's future is clearly conveyed in his face alone. Pure terror, shock, confusion, and sadness, all at once, and followed by disgust (in himself). He's literally shaking from what he sees.
