By the end of VIII it really seemed like Ben came into his own, realizing he had no real allegiance to anyone or any ideology other than his own passion and hatred. I wonder what this means in terms of his past obsession with his grandfather. Is it over with?Personally, I always thought it was a shallow fixation anyways. Aside from the familial connection and Vader's badass aesthetic, at his core he was a pawn and a truly pathetic and a tragic character. Palpatine was the real catalyst for the Empire. It might be interesting if in IX we see Ben learning more about Sidious and his mastery of the Dark Side and manipulation. Since he's now Supreme Leader, I think those things would be of much more interest to him since Vader was essentially just Palpatine's enforcer. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2C4NsmF
