This week is the last time most of us will be able to watch the original STAR WARS without the context of ROGUE ONE in mind

I know a lot of people are planning on rewatching ANH after RO premieres, but this week is the last time we'll be able to watch the film and speculate on the events that happened right before. After the movie opens, we may know what was happening hours, maybe even minutes before the Rebel Blockade Runner appears on screen. We'll know what Vader, Tarkin, and other possible returning characters have just been through. We'll know exactly what the first Rebel victory was like. We'll know the names, faces, and personalities behind each of the rebel spies. I want to take advantage of this opportunity while I have the chance... then rewatch the film after RO opens so I can see how it changes things.It's similar to how we used to look at the end of ROTJ as a joyous celebration, but now after TFA, there's a bitter sweetness to it. via /r/StarWars http://ift.tt/2gLaPmJ
