Rewatched The Last Jedi: I hated it at theater. It was so much better on rewatch.
Every issue I had with it (minus Rose saving Finn and Rose saving the horses and just Rose) was unreasonable after another viewing. I really am ashamed of the way I treated it and the horrible views I had on Rian. Man, it was pretty good. I understand Luke’s views. I understand Leila’s. I got the killing of Snoke. I got the side mission to Canto. I really appreciated the nuance and the new direction. I guess it was just so different than what I expected that I lashed out and couldn’t appreciate what I was seeing.I was so wrong. So in the scene between Poe and Finn on the TIE Fighter, after Poe says "It has a map that leads straight to Luke Skywalker", Finn responds "Oh you've got to be kidding me.
