The one thing I'd like to see in Rey's upcoming movie

I want to see a major shift in technology again. Watching the prequels, you could see the general progression of technology:V-wings were a precursor to Tie fightersArc-wings were a precursor to X-wingsAT-TE were a clear prelude to AT-ATAT-TP evolved into the AT-STWe witness the change in design of the Y-wing over time through Clone WarsWe see the birth of the B-wing in RebelsAll the main vehicles of war clearly evolve from the PT to the OT, which was only 19 years. Yet we reach the sequel trilogy, which was 30 years after the OT, and we've still got near-identical Ties and X-wings. Even the AT-AT's are still present at the Battle of Crait, though paired with the AT-M6.I just wanna see the next stage of in-universe innovation. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/zt1mrSI
