What killed Vader? Palatine frying his suit or turning to the light side of the force?

How different would things be if Obi Wan faced off with Palps, and Yoda faced off with Anakin?

Interestingly in Revenge of the Sith, Obi Wan does say "send me to kill the Emperor" - what if Yoda agreed? via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/tbcLQCZ

If you were a jedi padawan, who would you want to be your master?

What do you think Darth Vader was feeling and thinking when Luke said "I am a Jedi, like my father before me" to the Emperor?

Do you prefer the Sebastian Shaw ending of ROTJ or one with Hayden Christiansen

The attack on the Death Star II was far better and more exciting than the attack on the Death Star and I will die on this hill!

The trench run and all that malarkey from ANH was alright, but the run into and through the Death Star II in ROTJ is far more dynamic and exciting. They’re some of my absolute favourite scenes in the entire saga. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/vK7idQa

Now I see why this guy was made into Non canon, He Just made Vader look like Kylo Ren 💀

Mark Hamill was unhappy with the moulded prop originally used to film the cave scene in The Empire Strikes Back. The shot in the final film was achieved through Mark putting his real head into the Vader helmet from under the stage on set!

Does anyone think it'd be horrifying to have Darth Vader run after you. The dude is almost 7 feet tall, dead inside, and technicality indestructible. I don't see what'd cause him to run at you in rage though, unless you insulted his mum.

The 2nd biggest factor in Anakin's decision to betray the Jedi

was the entire fiasco that led to Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order. He loved Ahsoka, so when she was framed for a crime and the Jedi Council offered no support, it truly appalled Anakin. He successfully took it upon himself to find proof of her innocence after the Jedi Council turned their back on her.He was also a little butt hurt after he begged Ahsoka to return to the Jedi Order and she still turned down the offer - even after they offered a promotion to Jedi Knight. Anakin felt a little betrayed inside by her decision even though he tried to play it cool and act supportive. Mostly though, he blamed the Jedi Council for driving her away. This all happened shortly before the events of Episode lll where his turn to the dark side can seem rather abrupt if you never watched TCW. He was already fed up with the Jedi and at his wit's end going into that movie. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/MJuOTBG

Luke Skywalker on Crait

I showed my younger sister all of the Star Wars films recently for the first time and the way her face lit up when she realise that Luke was not even there on Crait was amazing. Seemed to be her highlight from the saga for sure.Personally it's my personal favourite Star Wars moment ever, Luke being the absolute Boss. via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/UvWHu07

Not all Star Wars characters need to show up in all things

For a while now I’ve seen way too many posts from people saying “oh I wish so-and-so would show up on so-and-so movie or show, who else thinks it would be cool?” And I just don’t understand what the desire to have everybody show up in everything Star Wars all the time is about. All these cameos do is make the S.W. galaxy feel really small and not epic whatsoever, in fact the opposite. It makes the Star Wars galaxy feel like a small town in the middle of nowhere where everyone knows everyone and there’s no scale to anything because we just had to make the Mandalorian cross paths with Zeb lol like come on, we don’t need this. No more meaningless cameos! via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/NgQqHPO

Would I, a non Star Wars fan, actually enjoy The Mandalorian?

Like, is it actually worth dedicating my time to, when I haven’t watched much of the franchise?Edit: I’ve watched all the original movies at some point, but can’t remember the details. I have general knowledge of the Universe, but definitely not a die-hard fan ;) via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/CtxB94y

So the next movie will be 15 years after Episode 9 here's how old the characters will be

the only confirmed character/actress right now is Daisy Ridley, Rey will be 35 year old in her next movie, Daisy will be at least 32 when the movie is filmedFinn would be 39 year old (if he's in the movie)Poe would be 48 (if he's in the movie)Rose would be 39Chewie would 250 (that's mid life for a Wookiee)Maz Kanata would be 1023Grogu would be 91 (still a child?)Ezra Bridger would be 69Ahsoka would be 86 (Filoni said Ahsoka talking to Rey in Ep9 doesn’t mean she’s dead)Lando would be 93 via /r/StarWars https://ift.tt/HPJYGlO
